Laboratory Small 1200℃ Hybrid Furnace Muffle Box & Tube Dual-Purpose Furnace
Introduction
The KTL1200 is a small hybrid tube/box furnace. Its chamber dimensions are 400×200×200 mm. As a standalone box furnace, it can be used for heat treatment of samples in air. This unit is also equipped with a quartz tube and stainless steel sealing flanges, allowing heat treatment of samples under vacuum or protective atmosphere. The maximum temperature of the furnace can reach 1200℃.
Technical Parameters
Parameter | Description |
Model | KTL1200 |
Power | 4.5 kW |
Chamber Dimensions (mm) | 400 × 200 × 200 (L×W×H) – Volume 16 L |
Furnace Tube Dimensions | 80 × 1000 mm |
Overall Dimensions | 1340 × 700 × 960 mm (L×W×H) |
Main Features | Dual-use (box or tube). A camera can be installed on the front observation window to monitor sample sintering. Maximum temperature 1200℃. Side-opening door for easy operation. |
Power Supply Voltage | 220V |
Number of Phases | Single phase |
Heating Elements | Domestic high-quality resistance wire (optional: Swedish Kanthal A1 imported resistance wire) |
Control Method | 30-segment programmable temperature control. 1. 30-segment program control with intelligent PID adjustment. 2. Over-temperature protection – heating circuit automatically cuts off when over-temperature or thermocouple break occurs (when furnace temperature exceeds 1120℃ or thermocouple burns out, the AC relay on the main circuit disconnects, ON lamp goes out, OFF lamp lights up – effectively protecting the furnace). 3. Equipped with RS485 communication interface (standard when software is purchased). 4. Power-off protection: after power failure and restart, the program starts from the furnace temperature at the time of power failure, not from the initial temperature. 5. The instrument has an auto-tuning function.

Warranty | One-year warranty, lifetime technical support. Special note: consumable parts such as heating elements and sample crucibles are not covered under warranty. Damage caused by the use of corrosive gases is not covered under warranty. |
Important Notes | 1. For safety, place the furnace in a well-ventilated area. 2. To extend furnace service life, we recommend a heating rate not exceeding 10℃/min and a cooling rate not exceeding 5℃/min. 3. This furnace is not vacuum-tight; do not introduce toxic or explosive gases. 4. Do not place samples directly on the bottom brick; always use a proper crucible. 5. During heating, ensure that samples and crucibles do not touch the heating elements or thermocouple. 6. If the furnace has not been used for a long time, perform a baking (drying) procedure before reuse. |
